How to enter flash mode

This port assumes you have U-Boot on your device.

Press Volume Down while plugging your tablet into your computer. After the U-Boot boot menu displays on your tablet, choose 1. Mount internal storage or 2. Mount external storage based on which storage you want to install it into with volume key. Then press Power to confirm.

Installation

After preparing your device in UMS mode with above procedures, run

$ pmbootstrap install --disk=/dev/sdX

Replace X with the letter your device was assigned.

Alternatively, write into the microSD card using the command above, then plug it in.

Progress

Will move to linux-grate soon.

Mainline status

The old kernel still exists for reference, but I will move to grate kernel where Clamor has already submitted the device tree. As for my tree, I would develop independently.

Kernel Boot Log
