He/him, open-source enthusiast, privacy-focused, power user, but not a developer. Mainly likes to improve the wiki to be better accessible for newcomers.
Thoughts
We do need people that help bridge the user experience gap between decent and polished, especially in the less technical work (e.g. improving user documentation)
Wikis are the best user documentation, except when they are mostly written by those who develop for those who develop. Then it's not really user documentation.
When we improve user documentation for installing and using Nura on generic x86-64 laptops and PCs, people (general Linux users) are more likely to daily drive this OS. That naturally increases opportunities to report bugs, and more developers might start contributing (like submitting packages), because it's an OS they actually use day-to-day.
Then, in the future, wouldn't it be nice to become the next beginner friendly Linux-based OS? I've experienced a surprising amount of speed on here compared to distros like Fedora or Debian due to musl libc. This lowered footprint is ideal devices that have become slow on proprietary bloatware operating systems, which means people can put this OS on it to make it fast again! Yes the incompatibility with glibc is not intuitive thing for beginners but we can always figure out ways around this in user-friendly ways (e.g seamless DistroBox integration, like KDE Linux is doing right now with kapsule).
