Notes
- Sound: SoundWire works, so does I2S, but there's seems to be some issues with the WCD9370 and audio routing.
- Video: Venus loads only the vendor Firmware and shows the video devices, but it doesn't actually do anything, newer kernel versions eventually allow for Iris instead, which should work better.
- Thermal: I'm not sure how to implement it.
- Bluetooth: Bluetooth works but it requests a firmware file (qca/crbtfw13.tlv) which apparently doesn't exist anywhere, and it limits the actual version and capabilities.
- Modem: Everything works, but 2 devices (/dev/wwan0at1, /dev/wwan0at2) that show up are apparently dummies and cause issues when ModemManager probes them, causing it to softlock in a state where the process cannot be killed. There is, however, a fix for this in udev: And for the Mobile data with oFono (ModemManager does not need this), another IPA fix is also needed:
SUBSYSTEM=="wwan", KERNEL=="wwan0at[0-1]", ENV{ID_MM_PORT_IGNORE}="1"
ACTION=="add", SUBSYSTEM=="net", KERNEL=="rmnet_ipa0", \ RUN+="/usr/sbin/ip link set dev rmnet_ipa0 up", \ RUN+="/usr/sbin/ip link add link rmnet_ipa0 name rmnet_data0 type rmnet mux_id 1", \ RUN+="/usr/sbin/ip link add link rmnet_ipa0 name rmnet_data1 type rmnet mux_id 2", \ RUN+="/usr/sbin/ip link add link rmnet_ipa0 name rmnet_data2 type rmnet mux_id 3", \ RUN+="/usr/sbin/ip link add link rmnet_ipa0 name rmnet_data3 type rmnet mux_id 4", \ RUN+="/usr/sbin/ip link set dev rmnet_data0 up", \ RUN+="/usr/sbin/ip link set dev rmnet_data1 up", \ RUN+="/usr/sbin/ip link set dev rmnet_data2 up", \ RUN+="/usr/sbin/ip link set dev rmnet_data3 up"
- Camera: CCI and CAMSS works (shows correct /dev devices), but I have not tested if DSI-CSI works because I'm not sure of the camera sensors on my testing device (Xiaomi Redmi Note 11).
The only differences that there are with SM6225 and the SM6225-AD/AF are the clock speeds, and Bluetooth 5.2 (SM6225-AF).
