Direct Rendering Management

From Nura Wiki

The Direct Rendering Manager (DRM) is a subsystem of the Linux kernel responsible for interfacing with the GPUs of modern video cards.

It is a requirement for the more modern UI, notably Phosh, Plasma Mobile or Sway.

In Nura, DRM support is often only available in a (near to) mainline kernel.
